SWISS-SDR / Learn & get started
Web-888: A familiar start, distinct technology.
The Web-888 is an independent Web-SDR. Existing Swiss SDR websites present it alongside KiwiSDR, but it remains a different hardware platform.
What makes the Web-888 distinct
The manufacturer describes a system with a 16-bit ADC and reception up to 62 MHz. The ranges and features actually usable also depend on the antenna, software and configuration of the particular device. Manufacturer specifications are not measurements of a receiver in the SWISS-SDR directory.
Putting it in the right category
A Web-888 can offer a familiar-looking browser interface. The listing should nevertheless always state the actual hardware. This also applies to the Web-888 listed separately on KiwiHasenberg: its name or address alone does not make it a KiwiSDR.
