SWISS-SDR / Explore
Two friends. One shared frequency.
SWISS-SDR is run by Ajdin Hadzic (HB3YAQ) and Dani Rüegsegger (HB9HEH): two friends who share a passion for radio and technology. We want to make Swiss Web-SDR reception easier to explore, for curious first-time listeners and experienced enthusiasts alike.
Why we created SWISS-SDR
An interesting signal, a different receiving site or a new antenna: radio always gives us something to discover. We want to share that curiosity. That is why we bring OpenWebRX+ and KiwiSDR together under one roof, with clear information and a short route to the original receiver.
Our project team
We bring together our experience in amateur radio, IT and radio reception. With SWISS-SDR, we want to share knowledge, introduce Swiss receiving sites and help people discover radio. Questions, experiences and new ideas from the community are welcome.
Ajdin Hadzic · HB3YAQ — radio and IT
Ajdin lives in Lucerne and uses HB3YAQ on amateur radio and 15-PILU-71 on CB. His interests include DMR, VHF/UHF, scanning and SDR. Professionally, he leads Everix IT-Solutions as managing and technical director. His work covers IT infrastructure, cloud, IT security, software development and automation. SWISS-SDR brings together his enjoyment of radio and his interest in digital platforms.
Dani Rüegsegger · HB9HEH — reception and broadcasting
Dani operates Web-SDR receivers as HB9HEH at Hasenberg in Widen AG and in Zurich-Altstetten. He is a member of SWISS-ARTG, HB9ZZ and HB9UF. At digris, he works as a project manager and ICT specialist in service, network operations and DAB+ transmitter maintenance. He also shares his knowledge through talks: on 8 November 2025, he presented Web-SDR with Leander Gutzwiller (HB9RMW) at SWISS-ARTG.
